Software Engineer Fullstack Senior – LegalTech

LegalTech scale-up using AI to make legal information accessible for legal professionals.

You will join a team that works on the acquisition and enrichment of legal content and on making it available to search and recommendation engines. You will play a critical role in scaling the legal intelligence platform.

Your main missions will be to:

• Building and maintaining the platform's frontend and REST APIs,
• Implement and maintain SQL and Elasticsearch queries,
• Iterate with Product Designers on the design and implementation of product UX,
• Conduct code reviews and prepare tests to ensure code quality in accordance with company standards,
• Instrumenting your code so that it can be monitored in production,
• Review and improve legacy code to prevent production bugs and keep a technical stack up to date,
• Write technical documentation.
  

You come from a higher education at the BAC + 5 level, ideally such as an engineering school or equivalent university.

You have at least 4 years of experience in building Frontends and APIs that have allowed you to acquire:

• A good knowledge of NodeJS, TypeScript, React/Redux/SWR or another Frontend framework and NestJS or another server-side framework,
• A good knowledge of SQL,
• Interest in code quality and in good development practices in general (tests, CI/CD) with the ambition to deliver applications with high reliability and high availability,
• Familiarity with agile processes, the habit of placing your focus on the product and on the user experience.
  

It is not necessary to have professional experience in the field of law, but the desire to invest yourself and develop skills in understanding legal documents is important.

Maturity, pragmatism, ability to gain perspective on technical subjects and to build bridges with business teams will be qualities to succeed in this position.
