CIO - Innovative Customer Relationship Player

Our client is an innovative player in customer relationships.

As a member of the Management Committee and at the head of a team of around thirty employees, you will contribute to the company's global strategy and will be responsible for technical innovation and the deployment of technologies adapted to the development and efficiency of activities. In addition, your main objective will be to carry out a transformation plan so that IT is a better lever for the development of the group's business while limiting costs.

Thus, your main missions will revolve around several axes:

• Co-build with the CODIR the IS master plan based on business challenges and existing conditions, design the target architecture of the information system and build the 2-year transformation plan. Note that this transformation plan will certainly require a transition from a “100% make” policy to a “buy” policy at least partially,
• Rebuilding and restructuring a single IT organization at the service of the various entities of the group,
• Reinstate a collaborative and constructive dynamic between IT and businesses,
• Manage IT IS transformation projects (“the build”) at all stages (framework, call for tenders, implementation, change management) by following a roadmap regularly shared with the CODIR,
• Manage IT implementation projects for each client/offer, while maintaining a high level of responsiveness of action (key element for business) and customer satisfaction while remaining guaranteeing the non-deployment of the IS and by trying as much as possible to industrialize deployments (by identifying common trunks...),
• Structuring and managing the “run”, in particular support activities with internal users as well as external customers, in order to achieve maximum satisfaction,
• Start a project to simplify and rationalize the infrastructure (and think about total or partial outsourcing),
• Guarantee the security of the IS,
• Ensure a technological watch in order to be a force of proposals.

Some trips to Bordeaux (33) will be expected.

You ideally come from a Bac + 5 level education, such as an engineering school or university specialized in computer science at a good level.

You have extensive experience as the CIO of a SME/ETI with a strong operational activity (industry, supply chain, retail, etc.) or as an IT research director in a similar company of a slightly larger size. You have already managed IT projects (both in buy and make mode). You have strong direct and transversal management skills (management of at least 30 IT resources from different structures, IT ecosystem service providers and project-based management of other company resources) as well as a good understanding of business challenges. You know how to build the architecture of your IS and the transformation plan to achieve it.

Your leadership, your positive and inspiring management will allow you to involve your teams in the major organizational changes that are coming and the other departments (CEOs of subsidiaries and functional directors) in new ways of working between businesses and IT.

Operational English is expected for this position. In addition, fluency in Spanish is a plus.
