Chief Technical Officer (F/H) — SaaS Solution

SaaS solution supporting customers in their digital transformation by giving them back control over their organization, projects and technologies in order to make the best decisions.

You will contribute to the company's global strategy by embodying the technical roadmap, stimulating its innovation dynamic and challenging the founders' product vision. As a “hands-on” CTO, you will be responsible for defining and developing the architecture of the platform published by the company to quickly meet the demand of a growing customer base and offer new innovative functionalities.

In an approach combining R&D and industrialization of the platform, you will establish yourself as the company's technical reference, guarantor of the roadmap, the quality of the code and the sustainability of the technological platform. You will be responsible for the evolution and creation of products with high added value, from start to finish but also for increasing the performance and overall quality of the achievements of the technical team, through the implementation of best practices and a flawless quality approach (software factory, continuous integration...).

Thus, your main tasks will be to:

1. Define the Technological Roadmap of the solution:

- Evaluate the current and future technological needs of the company,

- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to understand their needs and constraints,

- Identify the most appropriate technologies and architectures to support business goals,

- Establish a clear and realistic plan for the development and implementation of the selected technologies,

- Prioritize technological initiatives based on their impact on the business and available resources,

- Regularly update the roadmap according to the evolution of the needs of the company and the market,

- Communicate the roadmap to stakeholders and ensure that it is well understood and followed by all the teams involved,

2. Design and development :

- Lead and participate actively in the design and development of new product modules,

- Collaborate closely with the product team to understand needs and requirements,

3. Quality, performance and safety :

- Ensure the quality of the code by implementing and respecting good development practices,

- Ensure the performance and security of the applications developed,

4. Technical documentation :

- Manage and maintain the technical documentation of the product,

- Ensure that the technical team has access to all the necessary documentation,

5. Recruitment and skills development :

- Participate in the process of recruiting new members of the technical team,

- Contribute to the development of the skills of team members by sharing knowledge and best practices,

6. Communication and knowledge sharing :

- Facilitate communication within the technical team and with other teams,

- Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team,

- Conduct and share a constant technological watch to inform the company's future choices, with the best possible technological standards.

Telework policy of 2 days per week.

You ideally come from a Bac + 5 level education, such as an engineering school or university specialized in computer science at a good level.

You have a professional career of at least 5 years that has allowed you to acquire solid technical skills (Frontend and Backend) around the creation of software solutions as well as a first experience in team management. You have real expertise in architecture and application design and development allowing you to evolve on the existing stack (ReactJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, GraphQL, Prisma, GCP). Proficiency in ReactJS is expected for this position as well as experience with Cloud services. You also have a certain managerial credibility (or even an appetite to evolve towards this type of responsibility).

Throughout your career, you have shown your ability to anticipate risks and difficulties but also and above all to make strategic choices and define a roadmap in the context of innovative projects.
