PHP Software Engineer — Online payment

Startup offering an online payment solution for e-commerce, marketplaces and franchise networks.

You will join an Agile team that is in charge of the functional scope of the payment platform. You will contribute both to the creation of business value and to continuous technical improvement (craftsmanship approach). Beyond the team, you will participate in communities in charge of transversal subjects (DevOps, QA, Agile methodology...). On the other hand, the Tech Lab has undertaken in recent months an evolution towards agility at scale (Safe) and a transition to the Cloud.

The payment business sector implies that you will evolve in a highly challenging context from a security point of view (PCI-DSS certification) and also of high availability/scalability.

Your missions will be as follows:

- Analyze, develop and test new functionalities as a team according to the functional specifications provided by the PO,

- Contribute to the life of the product from end to end: from specifications to production through code review as well as support and run,

- Propose improvements related to test automation, continuous deployment or the technical stack,

- Contribute to the sharing of knowledge (presentation, training, documentation), be constantly on the lookout for technical and functional developments in the profession,

- Participate in the success of the squad by helping your teammates (PO/Dev/Ops, etc.).

You ideally have a Bac +4/5 level training, such as an engineering school.

You have at least 10 years of experience in PHP development. You have some knowledge of DevOps (integration/continuous deployment, QA automation).

More precisely, you know how to evolve in the following technical stack:

- Backend: PHP (Symphony), Java (Spring Boot),

- Frontend: ReactJS (material.ui), HTML/CSS,

- Infrastructure: LAMP,

- Code and CI/CD: gitlab & gitlab-CI,

- Database: MariaDB,

- Message-broking: RabbitMQ.

You show a good ability to work in an agile team in a lively environment.

Operational English (read, written, and spoken to work with English speaking colleagues).
