Backend developer — Drone specialist

Innovative start-up, specialized in connected and autonomous drones.

You will be responsible for participating in the proper functioning and development of application solutions published by the company. You will take part in design, architecture and technological choices aimed at pushing the limits of the current platform and offering new functionalities to users.

Therefore, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Participate in the analysis and design of solutions,
• Take charge of the definition of technical specifications and participate with your Senior in architectural work in order to guarantee the performance and availability of the solutions implemented,
• Carry out the development of the platform (Java/Spring Boot) by bringing your expertise and know-how to the team,
• Maintain a high standard of code quality, by following best practices and continuous integration processes,
• Always keep in mind that developments are made in a product and long-term logic,
• Participate in the DevOps approach with the team in charge of this subject,
• Conduct a constant technological watch and be a source of proposals in terms of solutions and performance optimization and report regularly to your line manager.

You have a higher education at the Bac+5 level, such as an engineering school or equivalent university.

You have at least 2 years of experience in designing and developing complex Java applications (ideally Spring Boot). Good architectural concepts would be appreciated as would a DevOps orientation.

Familiar with Agile methods, you also have a good knowledge of solutions for industrializing developments and related best practices (continuous integration, TDD, etc.).
