Blockchain
Définition
Blockchain is a technology for storing and transmitting information, operating without a centralized control body. It makes it possible to secure transactions in a transparent, forgery-proof and decentralized manner. Each transaction, once validated, is recorded as a block, and linked to other blocks, thus forming a chain (hence the term “blockchain”). Originally used for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, blockchain now has applications in many sectors, including finance, logistics, and identity management, thanks to its ability to guarantee trust and traceability.
